The Best Brunch Spots in Jacksonville

Mimosa Flight at Ovinte

In case you haven’t noticed lately, the brunch game in Jacksonville is strong. Brunch is one of my most favorite events, and I’m a very experienced bruncher. I have high expectations when it comes to the quality of the brunch menu offerings and orange juice to champagne ratio in my glass. Let’s be honest, it’s not brunch if there aren’t mimosas, so I’ve disqualified any restaurant that doesn’t serve them from this list (cause that’s just breakfast).

Without further adieu, here are my favorite places to get brunch in Jacksonville:

Pele’s Wood Fire

Banana Lombardy Toast at Pele's Wood Fire

It should come as no surprise that Pele’s Wood Fire is on this list as they’re one of my favorite restaurants in Jacksonville. They’re within a few minutes of my place, so it’s really nice to walk up there on a beautiful not too hot day. Their Banana Lombardy French toast is absolutely divine and the bottomless mimosas are always satisfying.

Ovinte Benedict

The Ovinte Benedict with Serrano, obviously. Beautiful food that tastes as good as it looks. You cannot go wrong with Ovinte. Check out my full review of their brunch here.

The Blue Fish

Chicken and Waffles at The Blue Fish Avondale

That Chicken and Waffles at Blue Fish in Avondale rocked my world. It tasted like a Chick-Fil-A chicken breast on top of an amazing Belgian Waffle. Heavenly.

Obviously those are the places I frequent the most, but delicious brunch restaurants are plentiful in Jacksonville. Some others worth noting include:

Here’s to a weekend full of brunches!
