{Friday Faves} 5 Favorite Beers

Once upon a time, I didn’t like beer. I know, that’s a little hard to believe if you’ve ever seen my Instagram feed. I remember the first times sipping beer in high school thinking it was gross. Then somewhere in college, I started drinking Natty Light and other frat party swill and eventually, I grew up and started drinking real beer. Good beer.

With that in mind, this week’s edition of Friday Faves is focusing on some of my favorite beers. This definitely isn’t the end all, be all totally 100% definite list, but I find myself consistently loving and ordering these beers.

1) Guinness

No surprises here! I’ve often expressed my love of the famous Irish stout. And visiting the Guinness Store House in Dublin only deepened my appreciation.

2) PBR

PBR is my Bud Light. If I want something cold, crisp, and cheap (the three C’s!) – I go with PBR. I know it’s hipster beer, but whatever. I like it.

3) Samuel Adams Octoberfest

Tastes like Fall. And I love Fall. In fact, it’s my favorite season.

4) Bold City Brewery Killer Whale Cream Ale

I love both Bold City and Intuition, but this cream ale never fails to make me happy.

5) Dos Equis Amber

With a lime. Because that’s the way The World’s Most Interesting Man would do it.
