After months of anticipation, I saw Magic Mike yesterday. Verdict? It could’ve (and probably should’ve) ended after an hour & I would’ve been happy. The first part of the movie was glorious, but when it tried to have a plot I mentally checked out. But then again, I didn’t exactly go see it expecting a plot.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen that I’ve been on a s’mores kick lately. I think I made them 3 nights in a row last week. Whoops. Sometimes things like that just happened – I open my pantry, I spy marshmallows, graham crackers & chocolate & next thing I know there’s marshmallow fluff on my nightstand. It’s like a drug.
Yesterday was pretty great. It was just one of those days where everything went my way. Jessica, Caron & I were featured in The Florida Times Union reviewing our favorite foods at Riverside Arts Market (check it out! RAM’s food is amazing). I was in a fabulous mood & good things were happening to me. In fact, it was so great that it involved stopping by Publix on the way home for a bottle of bubbly. Which quickly got the wheels turning in my head.
