I’ve been hearing for months now how I HAVE TO TRY Chamblin’s Uptown. I’ve heard their food is awesome and their coffee is pretty fantastic too. Since they’re about 1o steps out the door from my new office, I figured I’d give them a try.

I stood in front of the register for a solid 10 minutes trying to decide what to order. All of it sounded so good! I was impressed at the number of vegetarian and vegan friendly options the menu boasted. Ultimately, I decided to go really simple – a house salad with bacon.

First of all, I loved that the salad was a bed of spinach and included alfalfa sprouts. I think alfalfa sprouts are completely underrated, but that’s me. Their house dressing was a tangy olive oil vinaigrette. Simple. Delicious. Fresh. Exactly what I needed it to be!
