Earl of Sandwich

When we walked into Downtown Disney for lunch yesterday, I was completely expecting to pay $20 for a salad & $5 for a Diet Coke as Disney is known for slightly outrageous prices.

I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at the menu for Earl of Sandwich – $6 for a wrap or sandwich? That’s not bad at all… In fact, that’s normal & completely reasonable!

After looking over the menu of sandwiches, soups & salads, I opted for the Chinese Chicken Salad wrap:

Clearly whoever “wrapped” my sandwich needs to be retrained, or they need to consider larger wraps as it immediately fell apart when I picked it up. The juicy grilled chicken, crunchy wonton strips, crisp lettuce & slightly tangy Asian sesame dressing definitely overwhelmed the grainy wrap. At least the food tasted fresh (huge bonus in the land of over processed, theme park food) & it didn’t leave me feeling like a total glutton after. Just a normal lunch. Perfect!

Sadly, we did fall for the gimmicky, overpriced sodas in the cute bottles:

$2.50 for 8.5oz of soda. Don’t worry, I was ashamed.

Overall, I was impressed by the variety of healthy menu options including fresh cut fruit & yogurt parfaits in the grab & go section:

If you’re looking for healthy & budget friendly options in Downtown Disney, Earl of Sandwich is your friend!

  1. I haven’t tried that venue yet but it looks good and definitely promising as far as unhealthy-park-food usually goes. Good to know! Hope you’re enjoying the sun and time off! 🙂
